Enriching, enlightening, and entertaining, Music at Oxford’s mission is to create and curate eclectic series of high-quality events and projects in and around Oxford for the enjoyment of all.

Founded in 1983 and incorporated in 1984, Music at Oxford collaborates with internationally renowned musicians to create powerful performances in the inspiring buildings and spaces of the Oxford city region.

Music can uplift, thrill, challenge and change us. We provide opportunities for experiencing music across many genres and in all its forms, connecting as many people as possible from all backgrounds to some of the best music in the world.

In the first half of our 2021-22 season, we’ll be covering almost 600 years of musical ingenuity – from composers such as Christopher Tye performed by the fabulous English Cornett and Sackbut Ensemble right up to a mix of jazz and pop performed by the hugely talented National Youth Jazz Orchestra. We have Italian virtuosity from leading specialists La Serenissima, boundary-blurring jazz from Acoustic Triangle, classic brass playing from the acclaimed Cory Band, and Schubert’s Death and the Maiden alongside Nordic folk from the Engegård Quartet with ECM artist Nils Økland - we hope to see you at a concert very soon!
