The Nut Tree is a 15th century stone built cottage under a thatched roof complete with original low beams and wood burning fire in the Otmoor village of Murcott in Oxfordshire.
Mike and Imogen North bought the freehold in 2006, since opening the doors of the Nut Tree they have established the pub/restaurant as one of the best “foodie” pubs in the country, being one of only a handful to have achieved a Michelin star in 2008 and maintained it each year since.
Although the nut Tree is best known for its modern British cuisine, guests are equally welcome and appreciated for a pint or a glass of wine in the bar or garden. We serve our 7 course tasting menu, a 3 course lunch menu and our famous “bar and garden” menu with pub classics like Fish and chips and Rump steak with peppercorn sauce, walk ins only.
