Tom Conway, of Nobu, Criterion on Piccadilly and The Potting Shed fame, and Simon Willson-White, formally of The Ivy and The Ritz, have together converted this charming 17th Century Cotswold pub into a mecca for fine dining, wholesome pub grub with an impressive selection of international wines to suit all budgets and palates.
Tom’s passion for sustainability and sourcing seasonal produce sees him working with local suppliers to ensure a ‘field to fork’ ethic at all times. Coupled with an extensive wine and spirit list the aim is to bring a little bit of London to the heart of the Cotswolds. Food and wine pairings are championed by Simon and play a key part in the pub’s ethos.
The Seven Tuns is located between Cirencester and Northleach, and is brimming with character. More importantly the pub is off the beaten track and therefore a firm favourite with the locals and connoisseurs of the gastro pub scene. As a dog-friendly pub, within walking distance of the National Trust’s Roman Villa, it’s also on the radar for most walkers, ramblers and horse-riding fans.
Reputed to be the friendliest pub in the Cotswolds, this award-winning pub will certainly not disappoint.
