The annual Abingdon Air & Country Show will take place once again at Abingdon Airfield, Dalton Barracks on Saturday 18th May, starting at 10am.
The show will feature the popular afternoon Air Display program featuring World War Two Hurricane, Spitfire and a P51 Mustang on its UK debut aswell as a vintage Auster, The Titans Display Team, Muscle Pitts aerobatic aircraft racing a high performance car, the Gazelle Helicopter display team with a few more to confirm at the time of writing.
Static aircraft will be flying in the afternoon before and on the morning which features helicopters, general aviation, aerobatic up to a return vist by an RAF C17 Globemaster transport aircraft (subject to operational requirements).
Ground attractions includes live music by The Radio Days Big Band, Travelling Light, Lissie Allsop singing 1940s classics and the Abingdon Rock Choir, Craft Marquee, Arena displays, Eurofighter & Spitfire Flight simulators, various Animals, Classic vehicles & ex Military, Amusements and much more. A variety of trade stalls will be on offer aswell as hot food, a bar and ice cream vendors.
Tickets are only available online via the website www.abingdonairandcountry.co.uk for purchase to enter the show with the ticket giving details of the public and pedestrian vehicle entrances to use.
The show is put together by a small band of volunteers led by Mr Neil Porter in their spare time to which they are very grateful as the show would not run without their help and the publics support helps to fund the show.
2025 is the 25th anniversary of the shows existence and the committee are extremely grateful to everyone who supports the show to provide one of the regions larger events within Oxfordshire on this historic airfield.
