Abingdon Christmas Extravaganza 2022

As Christmas approaches, Abingdon will be decorated with lights and a tree in the Market Place and the lights will be switched on at our extravaganza on 26 November 2022.

The event will start at 12 noon and the lights are planned to go on at 6pm. The event is being organised by Abingdon Events Partnership, supported by the town council. More details of what’s on can be found here.

We hope to revitalise Abingdon’s festive spirit once more after the past few years when we couldn’t celebrate together.

Wild Goose Theatre returned to the Oxford Castle for their fourteenth year of outdoor performance. Their programme this year takes Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and places this comedy of love triangles and mistaken identity in the austere grounds of the Castle development.
