Searchers drummer, Scott Ottaway, to appear at Aylesbury Mind Body Spirit Show, October 1st.

Bucks-based Ottaway, who advocates drumming as a way of helping people with their mental and emotional health, will be running a drumming workshop at the show which takes place at the Grange School, on Saturday October 1st.

Ottaway has recently set up ‘Buckets for Bongos’ to help people with their mental health and is a regular on the Deer Spirit mind body spirit circuit – which also includes shows in Oxford, Cheltenham, Banbury, and locally in Great Missenden and Chalfont St Peter.

The show covers the whole of the Mind Body Spirit genre. Exhibitors specialise in spirituality, holistic therapies and wellbeing; give self-help advice and one-to-one tarot, psychic, clairvoyant and rune readings. Retailers sell crystals, arts and crafts, healthy living products and lots of other gifts.

Talks and workshops cover subjects such as numerology, crystal healing, lightworking, intuition and psychic development.

Local equine assisted therapy expert, Loredana Caminiti, will be speaking about the healing power of horses. Equine assisted therapy is now used in many mental health settings. Working with horses, it is believed, helps people become more self-aware and better understand the mental and emotional baggage they’re carrying around.

Refreshments, food and parking onsite. Doors open 11am until 5pm.
