Martina Landhed, from local Oxford business InStil Design Ltd, has been nominated for the fourth time as a finalist for the prestigious kbbreview Retail & Design Awards. This time, in the category of bathroom designer of the year, project cost up to £15,000.

The KBB review Retail & Design Awards celebrate the best retailers, designers, and manufacturers nationwide in the kitchen and bathroom industry. They are by far the longestrunning and most prestigious annual awards in the sector, with the 2025 event celebrating its 31st year.

Martina Landhed, Founder & Creative Director at InStil Design Ltd, says:

“Thrilled and Honoured!

I am incredibly proud to share that I have been shortlisted for the prestigious National kbbreview Design Awards 2025!

The heart of my work has always been designing bathrooms that inspire and empower my clients. I aim to transform dreams into reality while delivering a personalised experience.

This recognition is extra special for me because the nominated project was designed for a wheelchair user, creating a beautiful, accessible, and functional space tailored to their needs.

Designing accessible bathrooms is so important; this nomination reaffirms the importance of combining thoughtful design with inclusivity.”

The next stage of the competition sees the finalists present their designs via video presentation to the KBB panel of judges. The Judges will then determine who has best met the competition brief. The criteria include aesthetics, problem-solving, product and material choice, uniqueness of idea, design initiative, and value for money.

The winner will be announced at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2025 event, which will take place on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at a spectacular black-tie event in the iconic Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.

Martina, a highly accomplished designer, has been shortlisted for the prestigious kbbreview Awards three times (2013, 2017 and 2021) and has won twice. In 2013, she was awarded Bathroom Designer of the Year for projects costing up to £10k, and in 2017, she earned the title again for projects in the £10k – £25k category.

Since 2013, Martina has led InStil Design alongside her knowledgeable and service-oriented team. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional design and highly personalised service from a boutique-style showroom just outside Oxford.
