The much-loved Kidlington Mind Body Spirit Wellbeing Show is set to return this year with a new location at Kidlington Football Club, Yarnton Road. The event will take place on Sunday 20 October, from 11am-5pm.
The show has moved from its previous venue, Exeter Hall, due to flood damage. Despite this change, the event's organisers, Deer Spirit, are optimistic about the new setting and are confident that the community will enjoy another inspiring and enriching experience.
Deer Spirit’s Julie Fenn expressed her enthusiasm about the upcoming event and its wellbeing benefits. "Our show brings together a diverse community of healers, artists, and readers who offer more than just products or services. They help people reconnect with themselves, reduce stress, and find balance. After the past few challenging years, it's more important than ever to come together in a space dedicated to wellbeing and self-care."
This October’s Show will feature an extensive range of exhibitors, ensuring that attendees can explore various aspects of wellbeing. Handmade jewellery, magnetics, cacao products, original artwork, and authentic crystals will be among the unique offerings, giving visitors the chance to purchase meaningful items crafted with intention and care. The exhibitors represent both local and regional talent, providing a platform for small businesses and independent creators.
For those interested in holistic healing, the show will also feature a wide range of therapists and wellbeing experts. Visitors can experience treatments and consultations that promote mental, emotional, and physical wellness. Additionally, Tarot psychic and shamanic readers will be available for personal readings, offering insight and guidance to those looking for clarity in their lives.
One of the show’s highlights will be aura imaging expert, Steve Williams. Aura imaging is a fascinating technology that captures the electromagnetic energy field, or "aura," surrounding a person's body. This technology, developed in the 1930s by Russian engineer Simeon Kirlian, originally used high-voltage photography to capture an individual’s energy field on film. Today’s aura imaging systems have evolved to create colourful, dynamic representations of this field, which some believe reflect the emotional, physical, and spiritual state of a person. Williams’ demonstrations of this technique will provide attendees with a visual insight into their own energetic health.
In addition to the various stalls and exhibitors, the Kidlington Mind Body Spirit Wellbeing Show will host a series of workshops covering different aspects of spiritual and holistic practices. These workshops will include topics such as scrying, a form of divination using reflective surfaces, Tarot readings for personal development, and the healing power of colour.
“Each session is designed to give attendees hands-on experience and deepen their understanding of these powerful tools for self-awareness and transformation. This event promises to offer something for everyone interested in holistic health, personal growth, and spiritual exploration, with exhibitors and workshops to help guide people on their wellbeing journeys,” Julie Fenn says.
