Pucker up people. Here’s our selection of the best sticks, glosses, pencils, glazes and shines to make your lips compellingly kissable.
The new Lip Glazes from make-up artist-turned-maker Dominic Paul are a clever hybrid between gloss and traditional lipstick (ie, longer-lasting and non-sticky but still offering an abundance of dewiness). Available in a choice of shades, we love Hibiscus (pictured) £14
Anything from Sisley is incredible and we’re delighted to see their focus shifting to sustainability. Packaging is always covetable and now it is keepable as their latest launch is refillable: Phyto Rouge Shine lipsticks are pigment-rich but still light and juicy to wear. Layer up for intensity or a single slick gives a wash of colour.
Founded during the pandemic, Vesta London Beauty has a nude for every skin colour across the melanin-spectrum making this brand super-inclusive. The hydrating glosses are perfect for winter-parched lips and all products are cruelty-free. From £13 with offers frequently available.
Great choice of colours (we loooove Lust), female-led brand (founded by East London sisters Bukola and Opeyemi Adeyemo) and a billy bargain at just £8 but what we love most about these Matte Liquid Lipsticks is that they don’t budge and they don’t dry out.
Illamasqua’s extensive range has always been cruelty free, and their new recycling scheme: recycle: me by THG (Eco) means all panned products can be sent back to the manufacturer to be repurposed. Their Lip Pencil (£15) is creamy enough to blend easily and the Ultramatter Lipstick (£17) is pigment-rich for a bold, lasting finish.
