Ladies' Day: Gundog Training Day

The LGDC day will allow ladies with their dogs to learn, practice gundog skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Suitable for all levels of dogs and handlers. Lunch and drinks provided.

ABOUT THE EVENT

LADIES' DAY - GUNDOG TRAINING DAY

The day will provide various scenarios to allow dogs to practice basic and the more advanced skills required to become confident in the shooting field. We will cover areas such as competent handling techniques by improving the partnership between handler and dog.

Novice Group - LDG Level 1 & 2 Training

The Handler and dog don't need any level to start in this level. All skills will be taught from grass roots level up.

Advanced Group - LDG Level 2 & 3 Training

The Handler and dog should have a basic knowledge on retrieving, handling and hunting skills. They should be able to complete straight retrieves, go backs and just starting direction training.

TRAINING DAY ITINERARY

  • 9-9:30 - Arrival (Tea & Coffee)
  • 09.45am - Safety Briefing by Andy Brow
  • 10.00am - Move out
  • 10.15am - Training Session One
  • 11.15am - Tea Break
  • 11.30am - Training Session Two
  • 12.45pm - Tea Break
  • 1.pm - Training Session Three
  • 2.15pm - Tea Break
  • 2.30pm - Training Session Four
  • 3.30pm - Finish @ Pub for Debrief

All training is conducted in a relaxed, friendly environment with Safety & enjoyment being the priority.
