Europa Galante and Nardus Williams: Nature’s Voice

One of the world’s greatest Baroque orchestras, Europa Galante, is joined by Rising Talent award winner at the 2022 International Opera awards for our 40th Anniversary season opening concert. Led by Europa Galante’s founder and conductor-violinist, Fabio Biondi, and featuring Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and arias by Handel and Purcell, the evening will celebrate the sound of nature and inventively explore how composers depict the seasons within their music. Notos Quartett

Music at Oxford is thrilled to present the award-winning Notos Quartet as part of their 40th Anniversary Season. For their Oxford debut, the quartet have devised a rich programme centred around youth, nature, and Oxford itself: Walton’s Piano Quartet was written when he was 16 and published whilst he was studying in Oxford. Mahler was also 16 when he wrote his Piano Quartet in A minor and along with Brahms, all were inspired by nature. The Marian Consort: A Jacobean Christmas
