From blush to rose gold, pink is the most popular choice for bridal make up. We spoke with Rachael Capocci aka @oxfordshirebridalhairandmakeup (Instagram), who agreed: “any skin tone can wear pink make up! It’s a universal flattering colour. The trick is to find your perfect tone, whether it is a cooler based pink or one with more warm undertones.
She adds: “Pink enhances features, rather more obvious colours which may be too strong or not as timeless. It is very popular in bridal make up as brides normally want to still look like themselves – but the best version. Using soft-focus rosy tones with added depth from slightly deeper pinky tones can instantly make the eyes look more awake, brighter, and enhanced! You can see in some examples in the images here; I’ve added a pop of pink shimmer to give a little more colour and detail to the look.”
