On board the gliders carrying men of The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry to Normandy in the early hours of 6 June 1944, there were was also a platoon of Royal Engineers. They too played vital role in the plan to secure the Orne and Caen bridges, hear their story from Ingram Murray in this D-Day 80th Anniversary talk, raising funds for the Army Benevolent Fund and Soldiers of Oxfordshire Trust.
