The Alice, the all-day brasserie located in the Randolph Hotel, will be hosting a very special ‘Friendsgiving’ dinner on 24th November to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Diners can come together with friends and family and enjoy the traditional American holiday in this stylish location in the heart of Oxford.

The delicious three-course Thanksgiving menu begins with Spiced Pumpkin Soup with Cheese Straws, followed by Ballotine of Free-range Turkey served with Buttermilk mash, Sticky maple roast parsnips, Green beans and Cranberry sauce. It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without pie, and so The Alice has created a Pecan and Salted Caramel Pie served with Whipped Cream, which promises to be the perfect end to the Thanksgiving celebrations.

The Alice three-course Thanksgiving Menu is available on Thursday 24th November, from 6pm – 9.30pm, priced at £40pp.

Earlier this year, Little Clarendon Street was named one of the coolest places in the UK. The glowing report cited shops like Wild Honey and The Jericho Cheese Company, as well as community hub, Common Ground, and the now departed Wilding restaurant. Happily this prime venue has not stayed vacant for long. Kibou, the Japanese Kitchen and Bar, has opened its latest outpost in Jericho, and I went along to try out their contemporary and very stylish take on Japanese classics and street food.
