The Halal Food Festival

‘The Halal Food Festival’ at Birmingham NEC makes it’s debut this Summer taking place on the bank holiday weekend on Saturday 27th May and Sunday 28th May 2023.

With over 150+ exhibitors, outdoor street food vendors, an indoor exhibition with Muslim lifestyle stalls and entertainment we are set for a tasty bank holiday weekend with an expected 20,000+ foodies!

Birmingham is very well renowned for its dining options and diverse culture. Attracting people from all across the Midlands including areas such as Coventry, Nottingham, Leicester, Wolverhampton and more . We feel this is a great opportunity for a huge sector of the community to be represented.

Our street food vendors are looking to represent from all over the globe including ‘Afrikana’, ‘Malaysian Street Food’, ‘Myos Japanese Fusion’, ‘The Dutch Fishmen’, ‘Cleopatra’ from the middle east, artisan hot dogs by ‘Malik Butchers’ and Birmingham’s very own ‘Home of the Smash’, ‘Phat Jos’.

The main arena will play host to your favourite Halal lifestyle brands ranging from fashion, jewellery, Islamic art, charitable causes plus so much more. Celebrity chefs such as ‘Homemade Savouries by Sara’ as featured on BBC and The Islam Channel will be hosting live cooking demonstrations. Tiktok sensation ‘Mr Tee’, most probably the best ice cream man in Great Britain is also set to play host.

There will also be an ‘Artisan Market’ hosted by ‘Muslim Instashop Expo’. Expect fine delicacies, home décor, arts and crafts, fashion and beauty. This has been a great platform for small, start-up and Instagram businesses in the midlands at Birmingham’s Monthly Muslim Market.

With Birmingham’s harmonious diverse mix of ethnicities, our aim is to become an annual date within Birmingham festivities and calendar.

Starting from 11am to 7.00pm each day, be sure to arrive with an empty stomach!

Bilal Khan - Organiser and festival director behind The Halal Food Festival said: “Being able to host The Halal Food Festival is like a dream come true bringing friends and families together to socialise, eat and celebrate the Halal lifestyle. We encourage all walks of like to join us to learn a little more about our integration into UK. It is also a great opportunity for us to champion Halal businesses, hoping to take them from being small start-ups to leading enterprises in their respected fields."

Tickets for the weekend festival are available to buy from www.thehalalfoodfestival.com

Prices start at £7.00
