The OX GIN Distillery Tour

divider

A few years ago, Gin distillery tours in the UK were unheard of. Here in Oxfordshire, the pioneering distillers, Jenny and Bob Clark have opened up their distillery in Oxfordshire for an introduction to the history of Gin and a tasting of their range of globally awarded OX GINS.

The Chalgrove Artisan Distillery are a handcrafted distillery and are forging ahead with their informal take on the tour and tasting format.

Chalgrove distillery embraces Oxfordshire’s heritage and where possible source their botanicals from the local and surrounding areas to create its range of OX GINS.

Their OX Gin Distillery experience is open for warmer weather to soak up the ambience and enjoy your OX GIN tipple of choice.

Happily this prime venue has not stayed vacant for long. Kibou, the Japanese Kitchen and Bar, has opened its latest outpost in Jericho, and I went along to try out their contemporary and very stylish take on Japanese classics and street food.

I’m always wary of being reductive when it comes to Father’s Day (or Mother’s Day, for that matter) but surely a backyard barbie is peak summer ‘dad’ and the Tracklements Father’s Day Gift Box will be received with great pleasure by any foodie father or epicurean uncle.
