The vibe at Tythe is simple, honest, understated elegance. A family run venue, established in 1998 and located at the heart of the Deeley family’s farm in Oxfordshire, Tythe is well-known for it’s charm and attention to detail. The Showcase at the end of January will offer couples the opportunity to explore all that Tythe has to offer as well as giving them the chance to chat through their plans with the Tythe team. Emma Deeley, who owns and runs Tythe with her husband Will said "We love opening up the venue at this time of year and the Showcase is a great way to demonstrate how adaptable the space is and how easy it is for our couples to interpret the barn in a way that is perfectly tailored to their own style and personality." With equally attractive spaces for both 'indoor' and 'outdoor' ceremonies, a variety of seating layouts, the option to choose your own lighting, the delights of the wood-fired pizza oven and the allure of the outdoor wood-burners (Espresso Martini anyone?) - Tythe really have thought of everything!
Whilst the focus will be primarily on the barns and The Farmhouse, Emma has invited hair and make-up experts to come along and be based in The Nook (the luxurious bridal preparation barn) where they will be on hand to chat with couples about the ins and outs of prepping for the big day. Emma explained how Tythe offers Grooms, as well as Brides, a choice of spaces for getting ready in and highlighted that “these rooms were planned and designed specifically to meet the requirements of either the Bride or the Groom and considerations for both functionality and luxury were crucial elements throughout the entire project." With ample light, convenient power sources, a mini kitchen, sumptuous seating, underfloor heating and even bespoke spots to hang the wedding dress, veil or suit these spaces are an absolute triumph and a superb example of just how brilliant Tythe are at nailing it!
