Waterperry Saxifraga Day

Visit Waterperry Gardens on 27 May, 10am till 4pm, to see the largest collection of Saxifraga in the UK.

Saxifrage are a wonderful and diverse group of plants – don’t miss The Silver Saxifraga which will be in flower at this time.

Come and talk to the experts and browse our plant sales, take a tour of the Alpine nursery and view our collection of 400+ Hostas.

The Tales of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny presented by Quantum Theatre

Sat, 10th June @5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Quantum Theatre are back with an enchanting new adaptation of two of Beatrix Potter’s best-loved Tales, The Tales of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny taking place in the wonderful setting of the Waterperry outdoor Amphitheatre.

Peter and his naughty cousin Benjamin know very well that they are not to go into Mr McGregor’s garden, but they cannot resist and soon they find themselves in all sorts of scrapes, caught in a net, trapped by a snarling cat and face to face with Mr McGregor himself!

How will they ever escape? Can Old Mr Bunny come to the rescue in time? And whatever will Mr McGregor make of all those footprints in the flower beds?

Michael Whitmore’s charming adaptation will have you spellbound so why not grab the kids and join Peter and Benjamin on their hair-raising adventures – a magical afternoon of fun for all the family.

Performance – 90 minutes long including a 10 minute interval doors open at 4.30pm, performance starts at 5pm.

Rare Plant Fair

11 June, 10am till 4pm

The chance to browse stalls manned by experts specialising in both rare and traditional plants, all in the beautiful setting of Waterperry Gardens. You may buy your tickets on arrival at the gate with no need to prebook, Adult tickets £9.95 per adult, includes the Gardens and Fair; Children under 16 Free.

Handmade Oxford

16, 17 & 18 June

Handmade Oxford will bring together over 150 of the most exciting UK-based makers featuring a curated selection of fine arts and craft including Jewellery, Fashion & Textiles, Ceramics & Glass, Sculpture, and more.

Handmade Oxford also offers a packed programme of craft workshops, demonstrations, and engaging talks, which will keep visitors occupied throughout the festival whilst enjoying the beautiful gardens, there will certainly be something for everyone. Live music by local musicians and local artisan food will add to the fun festival atmosphere.
