Wilding, renowned for its commitment to exceptional wines and immersive experiences, is thrilled to present the Winter Wine Series featuring Kent Barker, Owner and Wine Director of Wilding. This series of talks will take place on selected Tuesdays in January and February, offering an intimate exploration of Italy's diverse wine regions.

Embark on a journey through Italy's picturesque landscapes and diverse wine regions with Kent Barker as your expert guide. From the northern corners to the southern gems, Kent will bring each wine to life with tales of the grape's origin and the captivating narratives of skilled wine producers.

Immerse yourself in the experience of up to six carefully selected wines per event, complemented by artisanal breads and oils.

Series Schedule:

  • Tuesday 9th January: Sicily and Calabria

  • Tuesday 16th January: Puliga and Campania

  • Tuesday 23rd January: Marche and Abbruzo

  • Tuesday 6th February: Tuscany

  • Tuesday 13th February: Piedmont

  • Tuesday 20th February: Alto Adige and Lombardy

Price: £35 per person

Earlier this year, Little Clarendon Street was named one of the coolest places in the UK. The glowing report cited shops like Wild Honey and The Jericho Cheese Company, as well as community hub, Common Ground, and the now departed Wilding restaurant. Happily this prime venue has not stayed vacant for long. Kibou, the Japanese Kitchen and Bar, has opened its latest outpost in Jericho, and I went along to try out their contemporary and very stylish take on Japanese classics and street food.
